Mumbai, Jan 26: An entire emotional rollercoaster took the Bigg Boss 8 house by storm as Rahul Mahajan got evicted and Upen Patel was secretly asked to leave the house without informing anyone.

Rahul Mahajan who got evicted at the end of the week due to a gross dearth of votes said that he was happy that he got out of the Bigg Boss house as he was getting irritated with the ongoing politics. Also Rahul's humiliation at the hands of Karishma, his speculated closeness with Dimpy and obviously Sambhavna announcing that he has a live-in girlfriend on the outside probably added to his growing discomfort. Rahul did also clarify that his estranged wife Dimpy and he are just friends and that he had no wish to get back with her.

Upen Patel who had left the show in a coffin apparently returned from the dead to confess his love for Karishma Tanna. The two made the headlines and hogged a lot of footage with their instant romance. Becoming a couple and Karishma's acceptance of Upen's proposal garnered a lot of TRP's, so it did come as a shock when Bigg Boss called Upen aside into the confession room and then asked him to leave without meeting anyone.

Many broke down in tears at the departure of the two contestants. Dimpy and Karishma were most upset. Dimpy sat in a corner shedding tears at Rahul's exit. Rahul on the other hand, also cleared the air on his supposed live in girlfriend by saying that he was single and not dating anyone at the moment. He will soon start work on his debut film "3 Full and 3 Half". Previously a pilot, Rahul had entered small time TV with Swayamvar where he married Dimpy and now he looks forward to a career in films.
