Puttur, Jan 2: A private tourist bus plying from Andra Pradesh met with an accident in Valalu, near Uppinangady on Tuesday, Jan 2.
The collision between the bus and an iron ore laden truck took place at around 2.30 pm on Tuesday.
Out of the 45 travelers who were on their way from Dharnavama in Antapa district, Andra Pradesh to Shabari Male, five were injured.
The bus driver Raju has broken his leg, while the others have been severely injured. Giryappa, Narasappa, Rajeeva and Ramachandraswami were the injured.
