Puttur: District-wide protests seeking withdrawal of cases against Prabhakar Bhat

Puttur, Jan 28: President of Virat Hindu Hrudaya Sangama Samiti, Dr Prasad Bhandary, said that protests will be held all over Dakshina Kannada district from January 29 to February 2, demanding withdrawal of cases filed against Dr Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat and several innocent Hindus.

These cases pertain to the keynote address delivered by Bhat at the Hindu Sangama held in the town and other petty cases.

Addressing a press conference held on Tuesday January 27 in the town, he alleged that the police had registered cases against a number of Hindus under pressure from Congress leaders.

A protest programme against this step will be held on Thursday January 29 under the leadership of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal, Hindu Jagran Vedike, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangha, Akhil Bharathiya Vidyarthi Parishad etc, he explained.

The press conference was attended by BJP district general secretary, Sanjeeva Matandoor, constituency BJP president, Appayya Maniyani, VHP Puttur president, Deekaiah Pervody etc.

These cases do not make any difference for him or any other person of his character. The law of the land catch hold only the poor, and apolitical people. For the powerful and political personalities it is easy to attain bail and acquaintance from the crime whereas other has to suffer for life long. it is the sad state of our judiciary. Our judiciary punishes the person who has taken bribe Rs. 100 and he doesn't even get the bail whereas persons who ate up crores of rupees walk free and enjoy the loot.....we are blinded by religion and to get ready to save other....

Threat of protest is to make such Politicians and religious immune legal actions even if they commit grave crimes.
If this allowed to succeed, surely all criminals will enter into politics of muscle power to get immunity from persecution and LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY will become redundant.

Why protest in the street?If nothing in the case fight in the legal channel....He can speak against, misinform the community for vested interest and insult particular community no offense?VHP & BD allied have given free hand in disturbing law and problem by their BOSS!Law will take it's own course be he KB or Owaisy.BUT surprisingly,so called political party BJP also join with jokers who has no job to do.
