Mangalore, Jan 3: The commerce association of Canara College here will host ‘Canfest 2007’ on Tuesday January 9 and Wednesday January 10 at T V Raman Pai convention centre, informed staff convenor of the event Shivanand Bhat while speaking at press conference here on Wednesday January 3.

The fest will be inaugurated at 9 am on January 9 by MLC Capt Ganesh Karnik. Prof Javali will preside over the inaugural programme. The logo of the fest will be unveiled on the occasion, Bhat said.

The motto of the fest will be ‘Radiating on the Zealous.’ The fest will revolve around the theme of universe. The highlight of the inaugural programme will be the unveiling of the logo amidst LCD displays.

There will be nine competitions in all which will test the management skills of the participants.

The inter-collegiate state-level management fest will see participants from various colleges of Bangalore, Mysore, Belgaum, Dharwad, Karkala, Udupi and Mangalore.

Staff convenor Satish Bhat and student conveners Kunal Shah, Vishal Prakash Kumar and Yanka Shriyan were present at the press meet.
