DUBAI , Jan 6: Moosa Abulhabi, from the south Indian state of Kerala, has won the mega daily prize of two Lexus cars and Dh100,000 in cash in the draw held on January 3. Moosa, who works for a transport company, was thrilled to win the raffle.
“I've been living in Dubai for 12 years now and I've rarely bought raffle tickets. So when I bought the ticket from one of the Lexus Kiosks, I never thought winning. I feel really great,’’ he said.
Ten-year-old Aparna won a brand new Nissan in the Grand Nissan Raffle draw held on January 3. Incidentally, Aparna's father, Velmurugan, loves the Nissan brand and is looking forward to receiving the car. In the Gold Raffle draw that gives away a one kilo of gold everyday, Ajit Kumar from Canada won gold worth Dh72,000. The Gold raffle has helped project Dubai as the City of Gold.
