Moodbidri, Jan 6: The second day of Alva’s Virasat 2007 on Friday January 5 was as exciting as the first, with violin concert by renowned artistes Karnataka Issaigyani, Padmashree Kalaimamani Dr Kunnakudi Vaidhyanathan and group from Chennai.
Kalaimamani Darasuram M Ganapathi, Kalaimamani T K DakshinaMurthy, Kalaimamani Madras, Kalaimamani Mailaduthhu Rai, Kalaimamani Chennai Srinivas Rao accompanied him on Mridangam, Kanjira, Ghatam, and Tabla respectively.
Gopika Verma presented ‘Samarpanam’ and ‘Mohiniyattam’ on the occasion.
It was a musical treat to the audience who enjoyed every moment of concert.
