Mangalore, Jan 7: The first phase of pulse polio immunization programme of DK district has begun. On Sunday, 921 immunization booths in the district.
With the Rotary Club has joined hands with the district administration in the immunization drive, a total of 741 booths have been opened in the rural areas and 180 in the city limits.
Transit booths have also been put to work so that maximum children are covered. The house-to-house campaign would be carried out from January 8 to 10.
