Mangalore, Jan 11: The annual festal celebrations of Infant Jesus Church at Bikarnakatta here began on Thursday January 11 morning on a grand scale.

The day began with a Konkani mass at 6 am. This was followed by mass in Malayalam at 7, Konkani at 8, English at 9 and a special Konkani mass for the sick at 10.15 am.

The solemn Eucharistic celebration of the feast will be held at 6 pm on Thursday. Bishop William D'Souza of Buxur diocese will be the main celebrant on the occasion.
