New Delhi, Feb 9: The chief minister Siddaramaiah has said that the opposition do not have common sense.

“The commission has the judicial powers. While the commission is working on the issue, there is no point in making accusations. They do not have common sense. Hence they do these things. They do not like an efficient government. That’s why they talk like this.” Siddaramaiah said.

The chief minister who was in New Delhi to attend the first meeting of the NITI Aayog told the reporters that all the documents related to Arkavathi layout land issue will be submitted to Justice H S Kempanna Commission.

Kempanna Commission is probing into the allegation of denotification done from 2003 to 2014. The submission of documents will take place today, February 9.

Siddaramaiah also explained the delay in submitting the documents. He said “Officials of Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) had to cull out details from a large number of files of the past one decade and hence the delay.”

He also said that after gathering the files, the officials had to compile the information in a proper format for which sufficient time was required.

Siddaramaiah also said that the number of pages of documents exceeded a lakh pages. The documents also contained the information for the denotification that took place during the tenures of Kumaraswamy and Yeddyurappa.
