Dubai: USWAS all set for entertaining Shirva Festh Mogachi Saanz

Dubai, Feb 10: USWAS, an association of Shirva parishioners residing in the UAE all set for its Shirva Festh Mogachi Saanz to be held on Friday February 13 at Al Masah Ball Room, Sheraton Deira, Dubai from 6.30 pm onwards.

‘Shirva Festh Mogachi Saanz’ is an annual event of the association, and the proceeds of this event of Our Lady of Health Church, Shirva on the occasion of its centenary year celebrations.

USWAS, a well-established Association which came into existence on December 20, 2002, has been rendering selfless service to the society in various fields for the past 13 years. It is a non-profit Association which abides by the motto ‘Lend a hand not for self, but for each other’. Driven by its motto, USWAS promotes the well-being of Shirvites living in the UAE, Shirva parish and society, and serves Konkani language and culture. It has been providing financial assistance to the needy for various purposes like education, medical aid, house construction, marriages and many such other activitiesfor the community of Shirva and surrounding efficiently through the generous help from its sponsors and well-wishers.The main objective of USWAS is to bring all the Shirva parishioners residing in the UAE together under one umbrella.

A show without a host is like a ship without a steering wheel. One of the most experienced, versatile, enthusiastic and well-known compere in Mangaluru and in Dubai Roshan D’Silva with his humour, wit and energy will anchor this event.

The ‘Rising Star of Shirva' Prashanth Sequeira, who has released two sensational hit Konkani albums, ‘Yo Moga’, and “Tunch Moga” will provide music. Talented singer and crowd puller Melwyn D’souza, versatile and melodious singer Joshal D’Souza who has rendered her voice in many hit albums will perform with Prashanth.

The event will have lots of fun, games, spot prizes, DJ music and dances by local talents. Well-known comedians of UAE and Mangaluru 'Thamase Kalakar’ are all set to tickle the audience with their humour. A number of singers from Mangaluru will entertain the audience with Konkani, Kannada, Tulu and Hindi songs.

USWAS has planned a fun-filled evening of variety entertainment for those who wish to be a part of Festh Mogachi Saanz. A lavish buffet dinner along with entertaining skits, dance and spot games will fill your evening with enjoyment.
