Mangaluru: Thieves barge into house, go empty handed

Mangaluru, Feb 10: Thieves barged into a house at Plasma Thotta in Jeppinamogaru Mangalore here in the wee hours of Tuesday.










 

The theft was reported at the residence of Saibi, aged 40 whose husband Beny C A works in Dubai.

It is said that the thieves barged into the house after breaking the front door latch.

Saibi and her son were asleep in the bedroom. The thieves got into the adjacent bedroom and tried to open the locker but they could not find anything.

Hearing the sound outside the room, Saibi switched on the lights and the thieves fled from the spot.

A canine squad was called to the spot.

The case has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station.
