Mangalore, Jan 13: On the second day of the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of ICYM Mangalore Diocese a cultural events brought in some light moments. The deanery level cultural programmes included dance and music.
Bantwal, Moodbidri, Beltangady, Mangalore South and Pezar Varado participated in the cultural programmes. The special attraction was the team from Konkan Yuva, Dubai.
Irene Rebello, Martin D’Souza and Leslie Rego, Bendur were the judges for the event.
On the occasion the former ICYM presidents were honoured by Bishop of Mangalore Aloysius Paul D’Souza.
On the dias were present secretary, Karnataka Regional Youth Commission Fr Sunny Uppan, principal, St Mary’s College, Shirva Fr John Barboza, former president, KCO, Abdu Dhabi Leo Rodrigues and proprietor, Maria Advertisers H R Alva.
Under the baton of ace musician Joel Pereira a musical evening was held which gathered a huge crowd.
