Riyadh, Feb 11: Khidmah Foundation (KF) Riyadh unit held its annual general body meeting at the Maqsoura Conference Hall of the East Ramada Hotel Batha.

The meeting commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Mohammed Nasrullah Kandlur.

Chief guest, Doctor Shafiq Ahmed appreciated the efforts of KF and urged the audience and KF members to follow the Quran, Prophet Mohammed (SWA) and his peaceful life. He noted some verses from the Quran about virtues of helping the neighbour and needy brothers. He further said, “Islam is a religion of peace; we must indulge in tolerance and forgiveness. We should prove ourselves by practicing high moral standards and set examples for the entire community”.

Saifuddin Kirimanjeshwar, Mh Tahir and Abdul Gafoor Shaikh Basrur advised the youngsters about the importance of social activities.

General secretary of Khidmah foundation Riyadh unit Brother, Fazlu Rahman Kolkar briefed about the efforts of KF in Kundapur Taluk during the year 2014-2015 with a slide show. He thanked the members and committee for their support during his tenure. He appealed the youngsters to join Khidmah to continue the noble cause of its association.

Treasurer, Abdul Gafoor Shaikh Basrur presented the annual report.

A total of 38 executive committee members were elected for the term and six new members joined the committee. Abdussalam Moulana welcomed the gathering and expressed his gratitude to all Khidmah life members, office bearers of other organization and the guests.

Chairman Kolkar Jaffer, vice-chairman Ansar Shaik and president Moulana Abu Mohammed were present.

Brother Nasrullah facilitated the programme and thanked all the attendees and executive committee members of Khidmah Riyadh for extending their support.
