Kasargod, Feb 13: Dr Srinivas has been appointed as the new superintendent of police of Kasargod district. He replaces
Thomson Jose, who has been posted as the assistant director of police academy at Trissur.
The district has a sizeable Kannada-speaking population. Appointment of Kannadiga to this important post is sure to make them
happy.
Dr Srinivas hails from Shivamogga district. After completing MBBS degree, he had appeared for IPS examination and joined service in Kerala. He had earlier served in Taliparamba as assistant superintendent of police.
