Mangaluru: Morphed photo of Modi in WhatsApp - Complaint filed against SFI leader

Mangaluru, Feb 13: A case has been registered in Ullal police station against SFI state secretary Jeevan Raj Kuthar for allegedly circulating a morphed image on WhatsApp insulting Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The image shows AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal in the guise of a hunter, and Narendra Modi as a hunted animal.

The image went viral on social networking sites and WhatsApp soon after AAP won the Delhi Assembly election, defeating BJP and Congress by a massive margin.

The complaint filed in Ullal police station by Mangaluru BJP secretary Dayanand Thokkottu states that the image shows PM Modi in a bad light and that it has hurt the sentiments of 125 crore Indians.

The image was allegedly uploaded in WhatsApp from Jeevan's phone.

Dayanand in his complaint urged for strict action against Jeevan.

The Ullal police have registered a case under Section 66 (A) of Information Technology Act.

    - 500 new schools
    - 20 new colleges
    - 1500000 CCTV cameras
    - 200000 public toilets
    So at an average,
    - a school to be started in every 3.65 days
    - a college to be started in every 91.25 days
    - a CCTV to be installed in every 2 mins
    - a public toilet to be build in every 13 mins

    All this will be funded by 50% cut in electricity tariff, VAT reduction, free water and WiFi....

    When Congress lost badly in last Lok Sabha elections, there were lot of morphed pictures, making fun of Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi & many other Congress leaders were posted on social networking sites by BJP & its Sangh Parivar members.
    No questions raised & no action taken!

    Why now taking this picture of FEKU, seriously?

    BJP supporters (who call themselves very much cultured!) can stoop down to any low & others should not.... why???

    Once a prime minister, never mind which party he is from or which cast he belongs to, his position needs to be respected. To show grudge in a degrading way is not a healthy sportsman spirit. In another morphed photo Kejriwal is depicted like a wrestler lifting PM Modi on his shoulder. There should be a limit in these things. Freedom of expression to certain extend needs to be controlled.

    Even I have seen the photo day before yesterday when one of my colleague showed it to me which was shared in his FB account. Win and defeat are always there in politics and only sick minded people can do these kind of things. In a democracy you have the right to redicule the politicians but at the same time they deserve minimum respect too. Even BJP people are also not saints, I have seen similar kind of photos after the defeat of Congress in last LS elections showing Sonia and Rahul waiting to Fly to Italy with their baggage packed. BJPeans feel the heat when they made to taste their own medicine.
