Mangaluru: Police arrest man for harassment of young girl

Mangaluru, Feb 15: Police in Mulky arrested a person for allegedly waylaying a young girl, acting indecently, and later harassing her.

The girl, a resident of Chitrapu, was going to work after getting down at Mulki bus stand. While she was walking, Kakwa resident Chandrahasa (45) waylaid her and demanded money.

When the girl did not give money, the man acted indecently and harassed her. She has complained against him in Mulky police station.

The police have arrested Chandrahasa and produced him in Moodbidri court.
