Bengaluru: CM takes Khader to task on swine flu issue

Daijiworld Media Network-Bengaluru (RJP)

Bengaluru, Feb 15: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is not happy with health minister U T Khader on the issue of control of swine flu in the state.

As per reports, Khader was summoned by Siddaramaiah to his residence on Friday night and the chief minister showed his displeasure on the measures taken to contain the swine flu.

It is a known fact that several cases have been reported in the country as well as in the state. But the CM feels that until the media published the figures of the fatalities in the public domain, the health ministry was not very serious.

CM is reported to have told Khader that more measures should be taken to control the flu like holding meetings with health authorities in the district level and forming a special task force if necessary.

CM has told to keep a track of persons admitted in private hospitals who are suspected to have contracted the flu. He has instructed to provide treatment on priority basis in swine flu cases.

Khader was told to take the swine flu matter seriously.

So far more than 200 cases of swine flu have been recorded in the state with 17 persons already losing their lives.

Incredible. Next time Peddaramayya visits Mangalore, please show him his place. By so called taking Khader to task he has made it clear that CM Pedda is ignorant and we can lose all hope for a better Karnataka under his leadership.
Swine flu is like any other flu. There is no way you can prevent its spread other than educate everyone to maintain hygiene in their daily life. Visit to a doctor will let you know how serious is H1N1. Kids and elderly are vulnerable and so are they to any other flu if not put to proper care.
Mr. Khader, if it was just CM trying to show he is doing his job by indicating you are not, the place where you are in is not for you. He must be already thinking beyond..probably someone from his favorite constituency whom he is dying to reward with a portfolio.
In the meantime, Peddaramayya..some respect to DK leaders else, you will have trouble visiting DK next time.

I agree with each and every word with you.Congress also has used Muslims as vote bank. The minorities along with our secular Hindu Brothers should vote for AAP. We need rules that should be applied unbiased and not ively.

Mr.Daryl Lobo, i fully agree with you, why should Catholics support and vote congress all the time, what has congress done for catholic community, they have used us as vote bank, congress you are finished, next yr 2018 Karnataka assembly election you will not come to power. Congress govt in Karnataka is pathetic, they can't even arrest trouble maker belonging BD/VHP/Sangha Parivar on goonda act, actually they have provoked these groups by minority appeasement and dividing the society on religious ground.
We will vote for AAP in next assembly elections, these are feed back we are getting from most of the people from over community.
Regarding Mr. UT Khadar, he is honestly a very nice guy just couple of junior towards during college days, he is honest man, does not discriminate anyone, always helpful, he lacks political knowledge and experience as minister, as for the first time he has been made a minister, he will learn through his mistakes. Keep your chin up Mr. Khadar and continue your good work, just ignore the critics. Honestly you are right man in a wrong party, you should be in Aam admi party.
    Cheers

Why people are behind minister Khader? Is there a real issue or issues are just raised to remove him?
If there is a real issue, Mr.Khader should discuss the budget allotted for right measures & form a team of experienced Doctors, media & negotiate with pharmaceutical companies for right measures.
But if the party already decided to side line him, then no actions will be useful...!

    DL,

You are just politicizing the issue. The lapse in the duty might be inexperience rather than your blah blah..You are sworn racist and Sanghi in this forum because you raised the issue which are purely out of context.Whenever derail i duty of the cabinet colleague,it is precedent that captain of the cabinet will appraise and advise to be alert.Being an Cabinet Minister,UTK is down to earth like KEJRIWAL.You and like minded are jealous @ him because he attained highest place in Karnataka that being from Minority community.Playing cricket, taking part in community gathering be it in India or abroad is a parameter to judge whether he is justifying his job.Being Tulva,Managlorean we should than Govt of Karnataka and particularly Siddu for choosing and reposing faith in him.He is new to cabinet and beside young politician who has long innings to go.DL being Christian and minority Community? You should thankful to CONGRESS!!!?He won the election not because of minority votes but because of secular Hindu brother's vote..HAAN...BD/RSS/BJP also voted for him!!!!!!!!

He is a totally failed minister. Except holding umbrella for miscreants, he has not done anything so far. That is what Kagodu Thimmappa said last month.

I know Hindus/Christians/Muslims voted for him. Matter is not who voted for him, but about his efficiency and delivery. He looks very innocent, but he is giving shelter to anti social elements.

    Ismail,

When speaker of the house raised issue over his performance in December at Belgaum, you attacked the speaker saying it is not speaker's affairs. As usual now you have taken U turn. I think you lately understood the true color of this minister.

Malaria cases are increasing in Ullal/Mangalore and this minister is total dumb to it. He is busy in rescuing cattle traffickers, molesters, attackers of Mangalore. In spends of most of his time in dialing 0824 (police station) from Bangalore. Rest of the time he is doing public stuntgiri by driving car, bicycles, bikes. Overall i rate him 1 out of 10. People of Karnataka is suffering due to this feku maharaja.
