Rs 2 lacs stolen from parked bike in Puttur

Puttur, Feb 15: A person has lost Rs 2 lacs from his bike in Puttur.

Sadashiva Holla, a BSNL officer withdrew Rs 2 lacs from bank on February 14 and kept the money in his bike box. Then he went to inspect a tower. On return he discovered that his money was stolen from his bike box.

It is suspected that when he withdrew the money from bank, the robbers might have followed him to steal the money.

A Case has been registered at Puttur city police station.
