Bhatkal: Dead body of a 68-year-old found near bridge

Bhatkal, Feb 15: A dead body was found near Venkatapura bridge, Bhatkal around 10 am on Sunday February 15.

The deceased has been identified as Suresh Basker Mahale (68),resident of Shirali near M G M temple. According to the family members, Suresh left his House on Saturday and he did't come back.

It is learnt that he went near river for nature call and fell down.



Bhatkal Rural PSI Manjunath along with his team rushed to spot. A case has been registered at Bhatkal Rural Police Station.

The body has been shifted to Bhatkal government hospital for post morterm. The body was handovered to family members later.
