Dubai : Hard tennis ball KPL Premier League Cricket tourney on Mar 27

Dubai, Feb 19 : Friends Dubai, a group of cricket enthusiasts based in Dubai, will organize KPL Premier League only for Indian-origin teams on March 27, 2015 at Hamriya grass ground at Ajman.

The day-long tournament will comprise league and knockout matches.

"For the first time in Dubai, we are organizing hard tennis ball cricket tournament. We have planned to limit the number of teams, so entry will be allowed on first-come-first-serv basis," said Mohammed Sadhiq Kaup, president of Friends Dubai, who is alsothe chief organizer.

The winner of the KPL tournament will walk away with Rs 1,75,015 and a trophy. Runners-up will get Rs 1,00,015 and a trophy.

There will also be cash prizes for semi-finalists, Man of the Match, Man of the Series, Best Bowler and Best Batsman too.
