RGV, Jagapathi Babu collaborate after two decades


Chennai, Feb 22 (IANS): Ram Gopal Varma's next Telugu directorial "Golusu", which went on floors Saturday, marks the reunion of the auteur with actor Jagapathi Babu after two decades.

"The two had collaborated earlier in 1993 Telugu hit 'Gaayam'. Their reunion has already created quite a buzz in the trade," a source from the film's unit told IANS.

"This project was on cards for a while now. It has finally gone on floors. Actor Manchu Manoj, who plays the lead, will also be producing it under his home banner," said the source.

Actress Surabhi, last seen in Telugu comedy "Beeruva", has been roped in as female lead.

The rest of the cast will be finalised soon.
