Bengaluru: Forum to launch agitation for dalit chief minister

Bengaluru, Feb 24 (DHNS): An action forum of dalit organisations demanding that state Congress president G Parameshwara be made the chief minister, on Monday, decided to launch a State-wide agitation from February 24 in order to mount pressure on the Congress high command.

Speaking to reporters, N Murthy of Dalit Sangharsha Samiti (DSS) said the forum has decided to stage protest in all districts.

The forum will start in Ballari district on February 24 and end in Bengaluru with a public rally.

The forum will continue its protest until the Congress fulfils its demand, he added.

    Why deviding & ruling on caste system? What was the mistake of the present CM for his change? Tomorrow minorities or some other caste may demand a CM from their caste. So,no meaning in the demand of a dalit CM at all. If someone wants a good governance for all citizens they should help the government for the betterment of the people. Otherwise the fate of BJP in the state is expected for Congress too! Jai Karnataka!!

    "Maadidunno Maharaaya", Congress kept the caste system alive among Hindus to devide them & get Votes from all these years & started appeasing minorities to vote as a block to retain power. Since people were not educated by then, they were voting for them. Now situation changed,feel the heat which you enjoyed all these years. Minorities are also demanding Deputy CM post. Congress is in mess in Karnataka. No development, Nobody is worried about common man. All are behind POSTS...

    Sachidanand Shetty, People of Karnataka did kicked out Congress once to see 3 cm of BJP in 5 years and with your hero Yeddi swallowing everything from Karnataka. Looks like you have to come back to Karnataka and take care of Karnataka and its people as well as your cows in your hut.

    So, CONGiss don’t need opposition to oust Siddu from his CM post. Siddu says that “he too is a Dalit” and Diggi says that “Shut Up” but Parameshwar says that both are sick………….. Whomever become CM, condition of Karnataka will not change unless people kick out this dirty CONGiss from our State too

    After making strides in thee path of extinction,the 135 year old party(said to be)is making fast progress towards its goal in Karnataka too.The task is set to motion few maoths now telling few days earlier that the 'issue of dalit CM' is put to rest,means in politics it is not 'rest' but 'on'.In polical language if it 'yes' then the meaning is 'no'...Now Parameshi is summoned to HQ urgently for unknown or secret reasons.On the otherside Raga has gone underground or granted sabbatical leave from operation as VP of the party.In total the task of making Karnataka 'Congress mukta' is taking place sooner at a faster phase than acually thought none other than Congress itself.!!!!!!
    Few days back Deve Gowda too gave call to his previous party colleagues ain JDS for 'Ghar vapsi'appears made timely fortunately.High time for Siddaramaiah for 'ghar vapsi' in dalit CM movement get momentum.DG should need much active role in the changed senario.....May god bless with good health!

    Whoever is able should lead, it is democratic principle.

    Incompetent Community leader can not improve them but may pull them down.
    Whether BSP CM Mayawati could change lives of U.P.'s BC's?
    Lives can improve only through our own efforts or by able leaders.
