Kasargod: New SP Dr Srinivas urges people to maintain peace

Kasargod, Feb 24: "Cooperation from all citizens is necessary to stop frequent communal and political clashes in Kasargod," said the newly appointed SP, Dr Srinivas.

He was speaking after taking charge of his officer here on Tuesday, February 24.

"The police department has decided to form a committee of politicians and common people to maintain peace. A meeting will be held soon in this regard. Action will be taken against sand mafia and anti-social elements. Everybody should come forward to help maintain peace," he appealed.

Dr Srinivas hails from Soraba in Shivamogga. He has been transferred as the SP in Kasargod after serving in Pathanamthitta for eight months as SP.

    I feel sorry for these Police officers or SP's.They come with a good intention to bring peace,Control crime,Clashes ,But unfortunately our Ministers don't co-operative,Even in the department some corrupt officers don't co-operate .
