Mudigere, Feb 25: Tremors felt in parts of Chikkamagaluru and Hassan districts on the morning of Wednesday February 25.

It is learnt that the tremors began at 6.55 am and lasted several minutes.

No injuries, casualties or major damages were reported.

The locals said that they felt the ground shaking and utensils and other items fell to the floor. The walls of some of the houses developed cracks.

They claimed to have heard some noise during the tremors.

The tremors were felt in Sakleshpur, Belur and Alur in Hassan district and parts of Mudigere in Chikkamagaluru district.

    @Jossey S.Mumbai,dont worry,noend will come.God has promised not to end the world.But we are the once who are trying to end it by our handling to the nature.Most probably in Ghats they had dynamite explosen .Through it came tremours.otherwise Epi centre would have given the notice .Thank God no big loss or any persons came to injury.Hope it will not occur again.
