Mangalore, Jan 26: The annual Vintage Car Rally was held on Friday January 26 morning in the city. This is for the fifth consecutive year that Vintage Carnival has been organized by Mangalore Motor Sport Club. As known for the last 5 years the Club has been organizing vintage car rally on Republic Day.
The car rally was flagged off by district-in-charge minister Nagaraj Shetty at Nehru Maidan on Friday morning after the grand Republic Day function.
A total of 16 cars participated in the rally. The vintage beauties rolled on the city roads to the absolute delight of the viewers.
While the young men and women found difficult to comprehend the beauty of these vintage road queens, people of yesteryears had a refreshing time to watch their favourite cars pass on the city roads.
