Moodbidri: Bike tumbles on road - rider succumbs to injuries

Moodbidri, Feb 27: In an incident which occurred at about 9 pm on Wednesday February 25 near the paper mill here, a motor bike rider died after his two-wheeler fell on the road.

The deceased has been identified as Srinivas Kamath (34), who used to tour various parts of the district in the capacity of medical representative. He was unmarried.

Kamath was returning home after work on Wednesday, when he lost control over his vehicle. Before striking the road at considerable speed, his vehicle hit a youth who was passing by the area. The pedestrian is reported to be safe.

Srinivas Kamath, who was not wearing a helmet, suffered grave injuries to his head and died on the spot. A case stands registered in the local police station.
