Mangalore, Jan 29: Iftikar Ahmad (35), a resident of Krishnapur VII Block has been hacked to death in his room at Al-Khobar in Saudi Arabia on Sunday January 28.
Iftikar was the son of the late Sheikh Mohammad of Suralpadi. He was working in Saudi Arabia for the last 15 years. He was still a bachelor and was planning to get married soon. Sources quoting his family members said that he had come home only for a day some 4 years ago.
He had contacted his family members on Saturday January and promised them to come home soon with a view of building house and getting married. But he was found murdered in his room on Sunday.
