Mangaluru, Feb 28: The NSUI elections were held in D K district congress office under the supervision of NSUI election commission on February 24.
Ashith G Pereira, from SDM Law College was elected as the president of district NSUI.
The new office bearers of district NSUI are, president Ashith G Pereira, vice-presidents Ashfaq Ibrahim, Manmohana Jois, Shiny and Anvita Pereira. General secretaries Pritvi Salian, Irshad N G,Rizwan and Deeksha. Secretaries Akarsh Bangera, Oswin D'souza, Savaad Gunadka and Rashmi.
More than 2500 students from various colleges across D K district cast their votes which is a record in the history of district congress.
District minister in-charge B Ramanath Rai, MLC Ivan D'souza and other congress leaders congratulated the newly elected members on the occasion.
