Mangaluru, Mar 2: Facebook and Whats App have taken more space in the wrong incidents happening in the lives of youth these days. One such development which started in the internet has ended in the police station.

The girl who hails from Madikeri studies at a medical college in Mulky. The boy is from a prestigious family in the area. He has finished his studies and is in the lookout for a job. Both the boy and girl met in the Facebook.

The chat went farther than expected. The friendship went to the extent of falling in love with each other. The family of the girl, upon knowing this warned her. They said her education would end if the love continued. She obliged and kept away herself from the boy. "Keep away from me" was her last message to the boy. That too via Facebook.

The boy took it seriously. He started visiting her college and kept demanding her to take him back. He even threatened that he would commit suicide. The girl approached her parents regarding this and as per their advise, went to Mulky police station to complain about the boy.

Mulky police summoned both the persons with their parents. The boy was asked to write an undertaking that he would not disturb the girl. Police also told them not to 'touch' Facebook again. All is not well for the boy. But this Facebook cinema has seen 'the end'.

    The movie "Endless Love" re-enacted!
First Complete the Educative Books & then Fall or Rise in Love seems Parents wish.
Then Face the Book of Life which is very demanding job of all the Books , bookworms fail to understand this Reality or Shy away from Real Life unlike Reel Life.

Parents advise to their children is highly required and appreciated.

Police would have tied the Knot if both have agreed they are in love and wanted to marry.

Here the girl and the parents decisions are sensible.

Boy can look some other girl.
Girl also can look some other boy.
    No resentments whatsoever.

There is nothing wrong about falling love. However what is necessary is is the consent from parents. That apart it is expedient that students prioritize studies, obtain their degrees and then think of marital ties.

I say kudos to The Police Department for rising to the occasion and taken the right steps to keep the situation under control.

Your biased comment is not acceptable. It is not fair to load the boy in the work too much so that he can only think of sleeping after returning home. You should have advised this to both rather only to boy.

    RS,

The boy has finished his education, why is he roaming around girl's institution ? Should he not have been working already, leaving him no time to harass the girl ?

Its his parents' fault, may have discouraged him from taking small scale job - prestigious family - didn't you read ?

What all other parents do after their children finished their education ? Keep them in company hen-pecking ? Not in my family background - does it happen in yours ?

Let them marry, parents can support them till they settle in life for some years. Who knows what step the boy will take now?

Sensible drive from the girl's parents and I liked the way the girl took it. All the best. beware of facebook. Avoid chatting and making friendship with unknown people.

I can understand what the parents of them both are undergoing. Its not correct to let two budding blossoms wither away, its important to take a corrective action.

Take them off that place, occupy them especially the boy in a busy training/work schedule so that he gets so tired at the end of the day that he has no time to think about anything else but some sleep.

The girl seems to be understanding her parents as well as her future. Warn her, if she did not fare well in coming exams, she will be married to somebody and packed off.

    All will be well.
