UAE : Feb. 01 : The stage is set for the first Mega event of the year. The much awaited first super event of the year 2007 – the “Agnesian/Aloysian Alumni Reunion 2007” is already a success - the way the fantastic response received from both Alumni and Alumnae of St. Aloysius and St. Agnes Colleges which surely will turn out to be a sensational experience.
The exciting event will be held at the Chalet Gardens – Al Jazira Resort – Gantoot on Friday, February 02, 2007 from 10:20 a.m. onwards.
Due to unprecedented response and demand for invitations , the Organizers have announced and stressed that there will be no invitations available either with the members nor at the Venue. Organizers regret and thank all the ex-students of St. Aloysius and St. Agnes for their support and overwhelming encouragement.
Johnson and Marissa, Chairpersons for the event , were ecstatic and were short of words. Speaking to Daijiworld.com they revealed that “We never expected that we will have such a tremendous response and we feel sorry for those who will be missing this great event, though we tried our best to accommodate several people but the situation is beyond our control” said the delighted duo. They also said that “the overwhelming response was mainly due to the team effort of the organizing committee members who have put in lot of time and effort to make this event a success and we are also grateful to Daijiworld.com for their fantastic coverage for this event”
This event will create history, as it is the first time that this event will witness ex students and their families meet in such a large number at this location since its inception. The event will have lot of surprises and the organizers promise it will be surely an entertaining day for the entire family to bring back the old memories of school and college days. The all Aloysian /Agnesian band is all set to enthrall the audience with their foot tapping music. A special music session by ex-Aloysians of Bollywood fame will also entertain during the evening session adding extra glamour.
The first 50 participants reaching the venue will have surprise gifts and also children will be specially taken care of as they will be kept engaged through various games, jumping castle, clowns, games stalls, goody bags etc.
As indicated earlier transport from Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah will depart at 9:15 a.m. from the stipulated places by prior arrangement. Organizers have also recommended that due to inclement weather, the participants must equip themselves with appropriate warm clothing..
So be there and the Organizers are all set to welcome the fellow Alumnae and Alumni at the Chalet Gardens at Ghantoot for an eventful day.
