Mangaluru: H1N1 public awareness programme on March 6

Mangaluru, Mar 3: A public awareness programme on H1N1 will be held in Milagres Hall complex here on Friday March 6 from 2.30 pm to 4 pm as revealed at a press meet held here on Wednesday March 3.  

Kamarruddin, medical cell convener addressing the press meet said, "H1N1 a deadly disease has spread widely and taken many lives. Due to lack of knowledge it has created panic in the city. Awareness programme is conducted to educate people on the symptoms of H1N1, the causes of the disease and the preventive measures needed to be taken 

Dr Mohammed Ismail H, professor medicine KMC Mangaluru, Dr Nithin Kumar, associate professor, community medicine, KMC Mangaluru and Dr Rajesh B V, district surveilance officer, health and family welfare Government of Karnataka will be the participating doctors. 

Nazim, HIF secretary, Sajid A K, treasurer, Adil Parvesh and Mokshith were present at the press meet.
