Kejriwal to undergo naturopathy for diabetes

Bengaluru, March 3 (IANS): Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will undergo 10 days of naturopathy treatment here from Thursday to check his high blood sugar levels, it was announced on Tuesday.

Kejriwal, who will arrive here on Wednesday evening, will be admitted to the Jindal Naturecure Institute on Tumakuru Road on the city's outskirts.

"The nature of treatment will be decided after his admission and check-ups," an institute spokesman told IANS but declined to share further details.

"Our team of doctors will decide the course of naturopathy treatment after tests. He is due for admission in our institute Thursday," said the spokesman.

Kejriwal, who became chief minister of Delhi a second time early last month, has been a long-time diabetic. During his absence, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia will run the AAP government in Delhi.
