Kasargod: Absconding drug peddler on parole arrested after several years

Kasargod, Mar 4: Adooru station police arrested a drug peddler who was absconding for several years while on parole.

The arrested has been identified as Mulleriya Batramoole resident Hassan Mohammed (40). He was arrested at Madhurai, Tamil Nadu in 2003 while in possession of drugs worth several lacs.

The court had sentenced him to 12 years of imprisonment. He was absconding from Madhurai prison. The court had issued an arrest warrant for him.

With a tip off, Adooru station police arrested him from a house at Mulleriya. The Madhurai police have been informed about the drug peddler and he will be handed over to Madhurai station police when they arrive.

    First he should give these drugs to his family and relatives. As suggested he should be given the hard work of swatcha bharat....

    Old habits hard to die. Again this man is caught with drugs, please given him bail again and again so he sells more and more drugs. What parole. First of all please give him hard labour. As I said earlier make arrangements to take them around to clean places after places. Meara Bharat Swacha Bharat. Jai Hind.
