New Delhi, March 4 (IANS): Tea lovers can now choose from a mind-boggling 45 varieties sourced from the best gardens across the world at the third lounge here of a leading tea brand.

The new lounge at Greater Kailash-I builds on those of the 120-year-old Wagh Bakri Tea Group's at Pitampura and Lajpat Nagar.

“Delhi and UP are extremely important markets for us. We are getting encouraging response from the existing lounges. This further increased our confidence to open more tea lounges in Delhi”, Group executive director Parag Desai told IANS.

The company is planning to open another lounge by May in Delhi's Rajouri Garden area.

“Tea lovers in Delhi will have multiple destinations to enjoy the best quality of tea in a five-star ambiance. The price has also been kept reasonable so that the consumers can return regularly”, added Desai.

Wagh Bakri, which has a leading presencein Gujarat, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh has six tea lounges across the country. It recently opened in Ahmedabad and Mumbai and will shortly do so in Surat, Pune and Vadodra, taking the count to 11.

“We want the youth of the country to start preferring tea as a healthy and stylish beverage. We are serving the tea in most modern and stylish manner,” Group CMD Piyush Desai told IANS.

Not just sipping the brew, but tea-lovers can also buy Wagh Bakri brands like green tea, exotic and rare tea across the world under the same roof.
