Sandeepa Dhar turns cop for Saurabh Shukla's '7 Hours To Go'

Mumbai, March 5 (IANS): Actress Sandeepa Dhar, who was last seen as a girl next door in her debut film "Isi Life Mein" will now be seen in Saurabh Verma's "7 Hours To Go" as a tough cop.

"I wanted something different, more realistic and challenging. I did enough off-shoot role. When I got this offer to play something different, I took it. I think that's been my journey so far," Sandeepa told IANS.

"She is very tough, no-nonsense cop. She is strong willed modern girl and her thought process is very individualist. She doesn't think twice before saying anything to anybody," she added.

The actress says she also underwent physical training for this film, produced by Krain Media.

"I took a lot of physical training especially MMA mixed martial arts training to get into physical mode. I spent entire day with cops, especially with a lady cop to learn habits, body language, gesturing and slang."

"I traveled by local trains to get the realistic feel of their day. I wanted to learn how they spend their day, what is that they do, how they perform their duties, approach issues," she added.
