Mangaluru, Mar 7: As people across the nation celebrated the Holi festival on Friday, Mangaluru city also joined them with its own colours.

While years back the Holi celebration was mostly limited to North Indians, the situation is not the same any more in city with locals also participating with wearing multi-colours these days.

People of all ages smeared each other with colour powder and drenched themselves in utter joy.

Indeed, only colours talked in the celebration.

There is a constant imposition of Hindi culture and fastivals and kannada culture and festivals on Tuluvas and konknes. This should not be encouraged in Tulu Nadu. We people from Tulu Nadu are ready to serve anybody. We must stop this. By th by what is hindi? Its a mixture of Arabic and some of the Indian languages
