Sonam Kapoor discharged from hospital


Mumbai, March 7 (IANS): "Khoobsurat" actress Sonam Kapoor was on Saturday discharged from a hospital here after she recuperated from swine flu. She is joyous to be back to "home sweet home".

"Discharged!!!!!! Home sweet home!!!" Sonam shared on Twitter.

The daughter of actor-producer Anil Kapoor had, on Thursday, informed fans through the micro-blogging platform that she was doing "much better".

Sonam was shifted to Kokilaben Hospital here from Rajkot on March 1. The actress went for a checkup at a Rajkot hospital last week and was diagnosed with swine flu.

Sonam was in Rajkot for the shooting of "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo", which also stars Salman Khan.

Upon returning home, she was back to being her lively self, tweeting away birthday wishes to actor Anupam Kher, who turned 60 on Saturday.

"Happy happy birthday @AnupamPkher your the best person I know and the best teacher I've had! Lots of love.. Break a leg for your play today," she added, referring to his new play "Mera Woh Matlab Nahi Tha".
