Kundapur, Mar 9: A dead body of a girl youth has been found near the railway tracks at Nagur in Kirimanjeshwara.

At around 3 pm in the evening of Sunday March 8, some women who were working in a groundnut farm spotted the dead body of the youth. Circle inspector M Sudarshana and sub inspector Santosh Kaikini visited the place for further action.


Meanwhile the police learned that on Saturday night a person named Sanish Pal had complained that his mentally retarded sister Remiya Pal was missing from Mangala express train. Police now suspect that the body found could be that of Remiya who could have fallen off the moving train by accident.

The dead body has been moved to a hospital and Sanil Pal has been informed. The travel details of Sanil are exactly not yet known.

Taluk panchayat president Mahendra Kumar. Gram panchayat president Subbanna Shetty, Sumangala Karanth and hundreds of others visited the place.

    whoever the Girl is,hope it was an accident,not any wrong handling from People with bad Intention.we cant believe These days what ever and whenever a Girl is missed or found dead.May her Soul rest in peace and bring the truth comeout.Heartfelt sympathy to the Family.

    I sincerely hope that this is merely an accident, not an attempt to molest her, a struggle in which she lost balance and fell to her death.

    Death is a preferred end to a mentally retarded girl than what happened to a Nepali woman in Haryana of similar health condition if the same is destined to happen some day.

    Easier for us to say but it will be extremely devastating for the family who looked after her throughout. May God grant solace to those mourning her death and rest to her soul.
