In future one cannt send even small Girls alone to School.is it our India is ranking high scores in rape and molesting than in sports? These rapists are taking Advantage of loose punishment of our govt.otherside Moral Police too are raising unnecessary their presence. Now govt.should really take hard steps without mercy to punish them.otherwise Situation is going out of Hand .almost gone to say.girls or women have no possibility to go alone anywhere ,without some male Person following or abduct,or rape.shame on you men.let women be our indias pride and save them from rapists.

    Kadrimai,

Agree,,, no leniency should be shown for rapists, no matter what.

Also we should make a introspection , why rapes happen so often in our region and try to find the reasons for it and try to correct them as far as possible.

Main reason could be no fear of law,,, feeling of getting away with it...alcohol and drug consumption, lack of parental guidance during bringing up children, also perhaps now people report rape cases unlike earlier....

After rape's happen we hear people saying hang them, Castrate them,,, which is not helpful....we should try to find reasons for rapes and try to eliminate them so we don't hear these shameful incidents again and again...

What has happened to our society. There is no fear of committing such crime as if they know the quantum of punishment. There was a time when even when such rapists would go to prison they would be taught a lesson by the dons. But today things have changed. There is an urgent need for tougher laws, recognizing even attempt to rape and not just mere outraging modesty as a crime, and non bailable offence and fast track court especially for rape cases.

If this menace has to be contained and curtailed & if the persons are found guilty of the crime committed the only solution is castration, let they live to repent in shame deformity and let the other such elements not dream of committing such a heinous crime on women and children. enough is enough these culprits will not learn a lesson with mild sentences

Rapist should be punished in public instead of keeping and feeding them in prison. They are fed by our tax paying money. Instead of keeping them alive, just finish them in public.

Rapists and terrorists needs to be given Mob Justice. Justice delayed is justice denied! Court drama goes on for years together, just to fill the pockets of the lawyers who are experts in playing with the loop holes of our system!

rape case issue we read on regular basis..why our police is not able to take proper action against rapist and provide proper safety to our people..why no other organisation come forward and help this victim to get justice and offered proper safety to girls first...when they found couples from different religion they take law in hand and make very big issue...where you guys disappeared when all this rape case happens even when we know culprit why you dont get aggressive that time and punished the culprit..reason is simple with this issue your group will not get any benefit politically..only creating communal violence which will help your group politically and also paid well in returns.. PLEASE STOP PLAYING WITH PEOPLE EMOTION WITH YOUR SO CALLED GROUP which you create for your own benefit..

Action by moral police depends upon the identity of the rapists.

Let police do their duty first.

    Jeevan,

It should not end up like Sowjannya case. No matter who they are, how reputed they family is, which community they belong to, they should not be granted any leniency as long raping is concerned.

I just remember a horrific rape which took place in Gujarat on a young six year old kid ...I will not go into details but I will mention that monster repeated what delhi rapist had done ...devilish unnatural act ....But I dont know why mainstream media kept mum on it, issues like this need to highlighted ..how come a young kid bear delhi type of rape scenario just imagine...just because the kid is a daughter of a construction labour it doesn't mean it is unworthy to report....

Again it’s happened in Belthangady region means this area is becoming prone to rape cases frequently. I think this menace will not stop unless people take the law in their hands like it happened in Nagaland

dear Sachidanand, please do not match rape issue to what barbarism taken place in nagaland. The person who has tortured by a mob, is not a culprit as there is no evidence of rape and the case filed by the girl was having intention of rivalry. He did not commit any crime. However, people did crime which should be condemned and the culprits should be shoot at sight. No one should take law in their hand. Let police do the investigation and punish if one is really did the rape. If we are the one to do justice, then let us close police stations and courts. I dount nagaland issue was a communal and the person was tortured and killed only because he belongs to minority and particularly he is a muslim.
