Warm Monday in Delhi, Tuesday likely to be clear


New Delhi, March 9 (IANS): Delhiites saw a sunny and warm day as the maximum temperature on Monday was recorded at 26 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average. The Met department has forecast a clear day on Tuesday.

"Tuesday is likely to be mainly clear. The maximum and the minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 26 degrees and 11 degrees Celsius, respectively," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

Monday's minimum temperature was recorded at 13.3 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.

Sunday's maximum temperature was recorded at 26 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average while the minimum settled at 14 degrees Celsius, average for the season.
