M'luru: Annual day, graduation ceremony at Laxmi Memorial College of Nursing

Mangaluru, Mar 12: A J Institute of Medical Sciences Auditorium celebrated its annual day cum graduation ceremony on March 10 at 4.00 pm.

J R Lobo was the chief guest of the program. He stressed on the importance of nursing education in a democratic country like India. Dr Narayanayya, professor, Nimhans , Bengaluru was the guest of honor. He highlighted the importance of courtesy and sympathy towards patients along with nursing education. A J Shetty, President Laxmi Memorial Education Trust, presided over the function and congratulated the graduates for their achievements.

Prashanth Shetty, vice president, Laxmi Memorial Education Trust, Ashritha P Shetty, director, Laxmi Memorial Education Trust, Dr Larissa Martha Sams, principal, Dr Theresa Leonilda Mendonsa vice principal, Laxmi Memorial College Nursing and all HOD’s, staff, students and parents were present for the programme.

Graduates were awarded with certificates and medals. The programme was followed by cultural event and the entire programme winded up at 8.30 pm followed by dinner.
