Kasargod, Mar 14: A day after pandemonium rocked Kerala Assembly during the presentation of its state budget by finance minister K M Mani over the bar bribery case, the opposition LDF on Saturday March 14 called for a 12-hour bandh in protest over the death of its worker and alleged police brutality outside the Assembly.

In Kasargod, the bandh was total and no untoward incidents have been reported so far. However, in several areas, tense atmosphere prevailed for sometime as vehicles were stopped by protestors and a few shops were forcibly shut down.

The bandh has hit normal life. Bus transport has come to a complete halt and other forms of transport also stayed off the roads. When private cars moved early morning, the supporters of the bandh forcibly stopped them, with the result that streets looked completely deserted.

People were put to much inconvenience as both government and private buses did not ply. Even inter-state buses from Kasargod to Mangaluru, Puttur and Sullia were not in service. Those who came by train in the morning were stranded in the absence of public transport.

The bandh was total in Kasargod town, Kanhangad, Kumble and others places.

The police have deployed tight security to ensure no untoward incidents take place.

People in Kerala divided for politics and their benefits and common man and women lost their knowledge of power to think that he also have the right think free and act. God suggested only one politics that is 'Dharam' (word meaning 'Vastu sobhava dharam') and two category that is male and female. 'Adharma' burns itself all and the nature (best creation of god the truth, the beauty and you).Best thinking of your is sufficient to save Kerala, India, World and United action will come only after that.

Its a shame that MLAs can destroy public property and they can shut down public life too. Its a shame. LDF should learn from China how they protest. Wake up.
