Hailstorm in Hebri area, normal rain in Bantwal, surroundings

Mangaluru, Mar 15: On Saturday afternoon, at a round 3 pm, people from Hebri and surrounding villages experienced hailstorm. Pieces of ice rained and scattered everywhere, making people to rush out of their houses to see what was happening. Vehicle drivers also were taken by surprise for initial some moments.

The hailstorm, which was experienced in Hebri, Kinnigudde, and nearby areas, was accompanied by thunder.

On Saturday, Kervashe in Karkala taluk, Siddapura, Hosangady, Amasebail and some other places in Kundapur taluk, got some rain. B C Road and Punjalakatte in Bantwal taluk and Narimogaru in Puttur also got some rainfall on Saturday evening.
