Karkal: Scooter hits, injures senior citizen

Karkal, Mar 16: A woman has been injured after a scooter hit her while she was walking on the roadside.

The injured person is Shanthabai (74) a resident of Miyar in Karkala taluk.

When Shanthabai was walking on the side of the Miyar- Bajegoli road on Saturday March 14, the scooter which came from behind hit her.

Shanthabai has been admitted to hospital with leg and hand fractures.

A case has been registered.
