Puttur, Mar 18: It has been a year since Najeebuddin (21), son of Abdul Rahman and Zohara from Karaya near Uppinangady, who had left his village in search of job for Bengaluru, and had started back from there for his native place. He never reached his village, nor is there any information about where did he go or what happened to him.

The family members of Najeeb, after putting together scattered pieces of unreliable information, have visited various places including Mumbai, Bengaluru, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan etc during this period and did everything within their command to trace him, but their efforts have proved futile.

The family is disheartened and directionless now. Since the eldest of the three children, Najeeb, went missing, his mother, Zohara, has been observing fasting in the hope that her son would come home with the grace of Lord. None of the family members have attended any celebrations or auspicious occasions since a year.

The hope of finding their son through habeas corpus petition filed in the state high court also stands dashed. After approaching several police stations and finding that they were reluctant to register missing complaint of their son, the parents had finally succeeded in getting the same registered in Jayanagar Bengaluru police station.

The family members have requested anyone having information about Najeebuddin to provide the same to cell phone number 9164037550 or 9945076313. Such information can also be given to the nearest police station. The family has promised to reward the informer suitably.

The family, which has stated that they could not get the desired result through the police department, now reposes faith on the kind-hearted citizens to find out their missing son. They have solicited support from the people to locate Najibuddin, after exhausting all other avenues to find him.

"Almighty God understands our disappointment, suffering, pain, fear, and doubt. He is always there to encourage our hearts and help us understand that He's sufficient for all of our needs"

Few days back there was a similar incident. Son started from SA and got lost in Mubai Airport but was traced and able to join the family.

    God is great.
