Patna, March 19 (IANS): A tutor abducted and murdered a 10-year-old boy in Bihar's East Champaran district for not paying his tuition fees, police said on Thursday.
The incident took place in Barharwa village. Two people were arrested for the murder, police official Ashok Kumar said. The body of the victim, Vivek, has been found.
"It is a revenge crime by him (tutor) who was not paid Rs.5,000 by Vivek's parents. The tutor murdered the boy and cut his body into pieces before burying him," Kumar said. The abduction took place on March 9.
Police suspected the tutor and his minor brother-in-law as both were absconding after the crime. They surrendered later.
