Indian expat dies in UAE road accident


Sharjah, March 19 (IANS): An Indian expatriate has died in a road accident in Sharjah in the United Arab Emirate (UAE), The National reported on Thursday.

The victim, in his 40s, died on the spot after driving into the back of a lorry while travelling on Sharjah's Al Dhaid Road at around 4 p.m. on Wednesday.

Police said that the accident occurred as the victim was driving too close to the vehicle in front. His body was taken to Al Dhaid Hospital, after being recovered from the wreckage.
