Three killed in Afghanistan bomb blast


Kabul, March 21 (IANS): Three people were killed and another three, including two children, were injured when a bomb blast rocked Afghanistan's Kunduz city on Saturday.

"The blast took place at 11.50 a.m. near a car of the police chief in Kunduz province, killing three people including a police constable," Xinhua quoted the provincial government spokesperson as saying.

He added the police chief of the area (250 km north of Kabul) is among those injured, but he is in a stable condition.
