Massive fire breaks out in Parliament premises


New Delhi, Mar 22 (Agencies): A major fire broke out in the AC plant of Parliament complex this afternoon.

"We got a call about the fire at around 2 PM and ten fire tenders were rushed to the spot immediately to douse the blaze," a senior fire department officials.

There was no immediate report of any casualty.

A huge cloud of smoke was seen billowing out of the complex in the high security area in the national capital.

Fire department officials said the blaze apparently started from the AC plant on the premises.

The fire broke out at the reception area of parliament house, the fire service said. The reception area is located a little distance away from the main parliament building.
