All issues with Pakistan can be resolved: Modi

New Delhi, March 23 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday greeted his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif on Pakistan's National Day and said that "all outstanding issues can be resolved through bilateral dialogue".

"It is my firm conviction that all outstanding issues can be resolved through bilateral dialogue in an atmosphere free from terror & violence," tweeted Modi.

In another tweet, Modi said he has written to Nawaz Sharif and conveyed his greetings on the National Day of Pakistan.

Also known as Pakistan Day, the National Day is observed to commemorate the passage of the Lahore Resolution of 1940, now called the Pakistan Resolution on March 23, 1940.

The resolution called for the creation of independent states for Muslims in north-western and eastern British India.

    Pakis will never do that or else will loose all those funding from big brother. The issues not solved when they were economically stronger to us, and you think they will do it now when they are very week.???
    Sir what about our own people's problem? when you will think? dont you think being a PM you should think it on the first priority? Khoon kharaba se kaise chalega desh..

    Leave all the prisoners of Pakistani terrorist group, fulfill all the demands of Pakistan government like you did in Kandahar and leaving Masrat Alam, all issues will be solved without doubt!!!

    better you solve the problems within India,before solving with Pakistan

    Time for india respect all its neighbors and treat them like younger brothers... and take them in our fold with Love and understanding and open doors. both ways.. work in synergy and help build and develop both ways..
    Look how china built up..
    Loud and powerful all over..
    In fact India should build strongly in south china seas. with Vietnam. Philippines.. also Thailand ..Indonesia .
    All small island should be built and developed for Indian naval bases..
